Blot. Don’t Rub
Everytime there is a spill or stain that occurs on your carpet, you would instantly have the urge of rubbing them. Clean Stain With Shaving Cream

If you immediately applied the shaving cream to the stains, it will help stopping the stains from setting. Always remember to use the plain white shaving cream (not the gel type) because this is to make sure that there are no colouring or greasy residue left on the carpet.
Firstly, as a precaution, do a spot-test on a small area on the carpet to ensure the shaving cream does not do any damage to the carpet and after you have done the test and there are no damage to the carpet you can start to first blot the excess stain.
Next, cover the stain with shaving cream and let it soak in on the stain for 15 to 30 minutes. After the shaving cream had dissolve and dissapeared, blot the stain with dry cloth that has been dipped in water until there are no more of the shaving cream residue. Blot again with a dry cloth to extract the remaining water from the stain.
Baking Soda Deodorizer

Mix the baking soda and 10 to 20 drops of essential oil together and then sprinkle the mixture over your carpet using a sieve and let it sit for 15 minutes.
